A 20-year-old youth was allegedly overwhelmed to demise outdoors a petroleum pump on Phagwara street late on Friday evening.

Identified as Tanvay, a resident of Ramgarh colony, the sufferer was returning dwelling after a late-night film together with his buddies and had stopped to refuel his bike when the incident passed off.

At least 10-12 individuals had been apparently ready for them on the pump and opened assault. Tanvay died on the best way to the hospital. Police have collected CCTV footage and began additional investigation. Model Town SHO stated that the accused had been recognized to the sufferer and can be nabbed quickly.
